The conference will take place at Kingston University's Penrhyn Road Campus

The Campus is well served with transport connections. There are fast and normal buses from London's Heathrow Airport and fast train connections to Central London either to Kingston or Surbiton stations.

Kingston upon Thames is an old historical market town going back to Saxon times.

Instructions for conference delegates

Please note that there are no car parking facilities for visitors in the Penrhyn Road campus. For information on car parking facilities in Kingston please see here

Directions for travelling into Kingston can be found here. For some details on accommodation go here.

If you are travelling to London by plane, the nearest airport is London Heathrow. From there you can get normal buses 285, 111 and the express bus X26 from Central Bus Station or from Hatton Cross. These buses take you to Kingston's Cromwell Bus Station. Another useful route from Heathrow airport is to take the underground train to Hounslow East station, to walk about a block to Hounslow Bus Station and take the 281 bus that takes you direct to Kingston University's Penrhyn Road Camous

If you are arriving into London Gatwick Airport. From there, take the normal (not the express) train to Clapham Junction and from there the train to either Surbiton or Kingston stations.

On the day of the conference, the registration desk will be open from 08:15 and will be located in room JG2002 in the John Galsworthy building. Location 13 on this map.

Room JG2002 will also be where we are holding the poster sessions, coffee breaks and lunch.

The conference lectures will take place in the Roberts Lecture Theatre located in the first floor of the Sopwith Building (location 15 on the map).
